Title: Hello from Leon
Post by: leon_heller on October 10, 2006, 01:33:08 PM
I played about with fractals back in the 80s, and belonged to a fractal group formed by one John de Rivaz. I was developing transputer systems at the time, and the Mandlbrot set was a standard demo for the transputer. John seems to be into cryonics these days, at one time he worked with Reeves on PCM techniques used in telephony systems.

Hey there, Leon, and welcome to the group !!   Didn't you used to play around with the FractInt (http://www.nahee.com/spanky/www/fractint/fractint.html) program way back??

Also, do you know if John is still in the Cornwall, Porthtowan area ??
