No, I didn't take it that way Erisian, I only meant I would not put a lot of effort into disposition and light if the shape was a noisy blob from the start...   A Beer Cupafro

Hope I didn't imply that your shape was uninteresting, it's just that I've been thinking a lot about lighting and composition a lot lately and you mentioned the hard work with lighting in this one.

Well, composition is always most important to me, and of course you can make an uninteresting image more interesting with good composition, color and light.
In this case I got a feeling of Metropolis from the fractal (which I found interesting even as a raw render) and tried to develop that feeling further.

Excellent composition.  I sometimes think that the way a scene is composed, coloured and lit is more important than the shapes found.  This looks like some kind of warehouse.
