Description: this is an image i made in 2004. (see http://www.renderosity.com/mod/gallery/index.php?image_id=752888&user_id=263774&np&np for original.
i decided to upload it here after watching http://www.fractalforums.com/let%27s-collaborate-on-something!/movie-about-jason-padgett-i-need-your-help-in-knowledge!/msg39050/#msg39050
to be honest, a man who claims to see patterns all the way, who counts prime numbers in his dreams, reminds me more of paranoid schizophrenia, than brilliancy (while the line between might be thin).
his images look arbitrary to me. only the hand impressed me. art is not only ability (sorry, tried to translate a german pun, that might not be translated - kunst kommt nicht nur vom können). but this is only my humble opinion.

for those who care: this is really handmade, built top down from a single cube by copy-move and some handmade optimizations...

ROFL - you should see the Math Fun mailing list wink
I think we're talking more gifted eccentric rather than paranoid schizophrenic (believe me because I've been the latter officially in the past - caused by that particular substance that lots of folks want to legalise).
