| Description: This is my rendition of HPDZs sample plot, rendered at 50000 iterations using histogram based colors. The crop is slightly different. The stats are: Fractal type: mandelbrot Plot size (w,h): 1024, 768 Maximum iterations: 50000 Center Point (real, imaginary): -0.7446103, 0.08653199 i Plot Width (real): 1.1E-05 In addition to using histogram based coloring, this plot uses distance estimate data (based on the derivative of the iterated equation) to color pixels close to the set in a different color. This makes it possible to have the shape of the set show up clearly, including fine tendrils that would otherwise be too small to see at a given resolution.
