Kinda like the lagoon at Venice already is, rather than the Dam might be.

A brilliant steal from Earth Maps wink

Best fractal image I have ever seen.  Really.
I'd like to see the water a little more bluish.
Even with a touch of postprocessing.
But it's a personal point of view.

@ taurus: This one slipped by with SSAO15... I changed ambient shadows to SSAO24r which looks a lot better: It's on my wall now at 60 X 90 cm...

@bib: Hmm, a flyover. That's not gonna be easy on an inside render... I might try it one day. Be patient grin

Well it was intended to look real, so I must have succeeded  wink Thanks for all your comments! I must admit that the colouring was a bit of a lucky shot (especially the "water"). Geometry comparable to this is rather easy to find by using Jesse's inside rendering (although inside rendering in itself is a bit of a challenge...).

Looks like a very large fractal town. How much inhabitats?

Infinity?

Very impressive finding ( I also thought first, it was a Google Earth picture).

Wowser. I did a double take on this one - thought it was a shot from Google Earth. Very cool!
