Pauldelbrot | December 03, 2011, 05:16:59 AM Thanks. A lot of time sometimes goes into tweaking the coloring. |
Kali | December 01, 2011, 01:38:53 AM Great. The coloring is perfect. |
Pauldelbrot | November 24, 2011, 10:41:36 PM On the web. And various. I'm not sure the etymology of the names has been studied much. |
Vega | November 24, 2011, 03:15:21 PM Where are Lotsa places? Who is the author of valleys names? |
Pauldelbrot | November 24, 2011, 12:58:02 PM Lotsa places. I'm not sure the Scorpion Valley name is widely used or known, though. It's north of the bulk of the Set. There's a big period-3 bulb there, which has a period-6 bulb, which has a period-12 bulb, in a vertical stack. The valley between the cardioid and period-3 bulb has triple spirals and two-headed seahorses; the valley between the period-3 bulb and period-6 bulb has "rabbit ears" attached to normal seahorses; and the valley between the period-6 bulb and period-24 has scorpionlike insect forms attached to everything. |
