Thanks. It's partially off-the-shelf and partially custom, particularly the iterations-to-color-assignment function. (Nobody sane could put a gradient like that one together in the gradient editors built into stock fractal software!)

I've really been enjoying this whole series.  Still not clear to me which software you are using - is it something you created yourself or is it something like Ultra-Fractal?
