Octavianus VS CleopatraAztech CityA heart of steel is always broken
Aztech City
Previous Image | Next Image
Description: No one ever knew the Mayans once had an outpost on Mars.
It was found deep under the red dust in the year 2067.

To the left on this postcard you can see the 'Opera mountain', built on the mountain side as a semi-reflection of the architecture of the 'Mayalympic stadium' far below in the valley.
The Mayan embassy is located to the right of the mountain, and on the small image you see it from the opposite angle at nighttime.
I hope you will enjoy your stay...

I did this one exclusively for the Benoit Mandelbrot Fractal Art Contest.
As you might know, the Jury chose my Fractal Wasp Troll.
So here is one of the rejected pieces.

Higher quality: http://MANDELWERK.deviantart.com/art/Aztech-City-263899496

Rendered with Mandelbulb 3D.
Background sky photographed by me and added in Photoshop.

I will give you another... "AMAZING AS ALWAYS, JOHAN!".  I mean seriously, how can you critique that?

However, since you seem to be seeking critique... The word "Aztech" is spelled wrong.  Unless that was intentional.

I'm a very lazy person, you know... so I want the forum's software to automatically include this line as my reply to every image you post:

"AMAZING AS ALWAYS, JOHAN!"

Hey Johan
I love the insert...really great render and perspective, it has a real presence.
Wasp Troll is obviously a great fractal, and while artistically one can argue about one fractal or another being better, it does not matter.

Great job as usual

Louis
