LMarkoya | May 12, 2011, 03:54:49 PM Thanks for the explanation, extremely cool image, good enough that I'll have to fire up UF and poke around...I really love hoe the outer out of focus regions form to spheres or bubbles....such a nice contrast to the convulsive detail of the inner knots |
Kali | May 12, 2011, 12:27:17 AM @LMarkoya: Is Ultrafractal, using selfmade formula and a modified version of "exponential smoothing" coloring method. @Erisian: Good point. I've seen this kind of knots when exploring some 2D hybrids I've done, and now I'm beginning to see how they are produced, this and other patterns that often appears in other fractals. I'm doing this monochrome series to explore and show the most interesting patterns I found with this very simple formulas, with only little modifications of my original finding. Thanks both for your comments, I'm glad you like it! |
Guest | May 11, 2011, 11:32:44 PM Gorgeous one kali. Reminds me a little of Celtic knotwork. |
