Really?  Messed up?
I like the thin lines of the  'slopes'  like rings in a tree and the colorful surprise.
So your perseverance was not in vain smiley   A Beer Cup A Beer Cup

It is an example of a messed up poor quality fractal, but if you persevere  you can occasionally find good quality areas.

Beautiful,  like you find an entirely undiscovered world behind some huge  mountain slopes after a long and suffering quest.  Nearly impossible to climb.  Very different indeed, real beautiful.

I used to make pictures (thousands) of for example old rotten tree trunks and especially inside of them. The wonderful colors and structures you find is sometimes stunning.  Most people haven't got a clue what it is if I show them such a picture.  This fractal of yours reminds me of that!  Great work!  (again)
