Description: I learned from MarkJayBee's journal over on dA, of a fun little tool that allows panos made in MB3D to be viewed in interactive 3D, using Flickr. So I had a play with it. This is an older piece rendered in pano, that I posted on Flickr. To my amazement, the pic went viral, made Explore! #50, has had over 16,500 views, 290 favs, and 32 comments!!! My highest rated image ever! I was amused by comments like "great shot" and "amazing photo", I wonder what they thought they were looking at! =D Thanks Mark! Dermis | January 22, 2014, 02:35:51 PM Thanks Mclarekin! Cheers Cytotox, This was just a test render, so I just grabbed a quick sky pic, hence you can see the join. It would need a panoramic sky photo, to work properly. |
cytotox | January 22, 2014, 10:33:04 AM The viewing experience in this App is really cool. I would like to see more of these panoramas ... Btw: While looking down, I can see no inconsistencies, but looking straight up, there is a mismatch in the sky region. Can this be avoided? |
mclarekin | January 22, 2014, 12:51:20 AM love the "unsteady" feel it gives me |
