haltenny | April 13, 2013, 10:10:12 PM Quote No, just folded the first half. PS: I don't know exactly which smooth shape you mean. But sometimes a Min R value of 1 does a little wonder to a crappy shape. Thanks lxh. I guess I'm on the right track then, for the most part I've been keeping the Min R at 1 and the second half fold off. Still looking around and finding things. It's a really great hybrid. |
lxh | April 13, 2013, 07:34:51 PM Quote did you leave the _FoldingTetra3d at default settings? No, just folded the first half. PS: I don't know exactly which smooth shape you mean. But sometimes a Min R value of 1 does a little wonder to a crappy shape. |
haltenny | April 13, 2013, 03:23:49 PM Thanks everyone! And yes lxh, I used 2 iterations on the ASurf. There is a lot to be found, I admit I was searching for the smooth, complex detail you found, but with no luck. Just a quick question (you don't have to answer if you'd rather not) but did you leave the _FoldingTetra3d at default settings? I seem to get very different results depending on those settings. |
dainbramage | April 13, 2013, 03:20:28 PM Superb work Hal! |
lxh | April 13, 2013, 08:09:35 AM Wow, that's a cool one, haltenny! Never saw it before when exploring this hybrid. And there is soooo much to find. Did you use two iterations of the surf? |
