Description: The rover had found curious green-tinged patches on the surface. Was it life of some sort, clinging to the rocks -- some kind of hardy alien lichen-analogue? Or just some mineral, perhaps copper-rich, that caused that color? Only the little analysis lab built into the rover could answer that question. The arm would have to painstakingly reach out, gouge out a sample, pick it up, and drop it into the analysis port in the rover's body. But first the rover would have to weather the huge, towering sandstorm that was looming now on the western horizon...
