Guest | July 03, 2012, 04:10:27 PM Thanks to all who voted!! Looking forward to next year. |
Pauldelbrot | June 08, 2012, 09:56:48 AM This is easily in my top three for this year. |
Guest | May 29, 2012, 05:41:19 PM You caught me. Yes I was too lazy to create a seperate path Watching FFNews right now - great work! |
cKleinhuis | May 27, 2012, 11:17:43 PM i believe i know how you made thos cool light movements, hrhr, you are using your own formula renderer, created a path, and moved the lights in a sine/cosine manner around a few seconds before the current camera position ... just say i am right ... i really adore those moving lights ! |
weavers | May 25, 2012, 01:34:59 PM Greetings and salutations to you Eiffie, aka, Ytainfiusa! Diagnosis Criteria : Compositionality : Ambient illuminatorial geometric investigative journeys : data : The idea of using the construct device of lighting as a character, in the movie is fabulous! : This idea, which is the utilization of lights as a tool of the matrix, to act as a tour guide, into the depths of the dark fractal worlds for the benefit of every one to see is brilliant! : What struck us as a real pleasant surprise, in the film is, the sheer volume of the management skill sets required to first, make this film and second, the creative mind needed, to jump start it, with bold audacity to display the use flawlessly of both 3D models and 4D fractal geometrousities in a fabulous matrimony of worlds, which up until now were unimaginable! It is with great honor, and humility, we offer our most sincere congratulations to the author of these works, the Architectural Fractologist Eiffie! Data: What we like about this movie, is not only just the, chase cycles scenes, but the mood of excitement that was achieved, It's really exciting! So cool! Our eyes follow along the meandering trajectories, orbital transmigration spirals, twisting and turning, flipping over happily, like a child at christmas! Each scene is like opening a christmas present! It's totally a cool experience! Who knew? Who does the world love? The world loves Eiffie, The Fractal film director extraodinaire! The viewers attention, is enticed to watch so closely his mind easily interpolates, into the film and just gets bold over by it! It really rocks! Data : We note, the excellent usage of : both lighting, intra illumination abilities within the moving structures and geometrousities, in fractal space! It self, this employment of 3D apps and fractals solidifies the combining bond, between the 3D and 4D fractal universes, finally in to our earth time universe! The Artist created really super realities, we enjoy them tremendously! [ seconds in to scene 0: 07 ] Tibid prefab musicality, is heard as the movie opens! First thing we see is, a giant transparent shiny globe, theoretically representing the a mystical crystal ball of a space-time traveler, it zooms in to a dark scene populated with a myriad of 3D structures, resembling geometrousities in darken hues of oranges, and black ground earth components! About a quarter of a mile farther in we see the night sky and the stars! It excitedly acts as a moisturizer for the unsuspecting mind of the clueless viewer. precipitationally prepping him for whats coming next? [ Seconds in to scene 0: 11 ] The crystal ball flies father in to the center of the pictoriality! Skimming closely the surface of the dark landscape, and there to our surprise, to the left we first see three fractal spiritual creatures who are shocked by its sudden arrival, and they immediately materialize and take on the forms of tiny spinning sparkling fuzzy white lights! The negative chemistry is fluxing palpably between the two, as the lights say," Oh, Oh! Man, we got a crystal ball intruder on our tail ,Lets get the heck out of here fast! So, one makes a break for it turning sharply to the left and curving down and everybody else follows along for the ride! And the wild hot chase is on, will they get caught? Will the crystal ball intruder, swallow them whole? Its very hard to tell! We follow along wishing them well, in their escape attempt! But it doesn't look good, the crystal balls right on their tail, up close and personal! And things are getting hot in fractaland! [ Seconds in to scene 0: 17 ] They decide to jump off a cliff, trying to ditch him, but he's got a license to kill, and moves as fast as they do. What we like about what the artist did, here, is show the curbing path trajectories in the 3D apps, in unison with the realms of the geometric fractalized landscapes, Compose on our right, by a huge baffling orange geometrousity, pushing upwards with a pair of big lips on top. The mouth of the orange geometrousity, is blowing fractal bubbles out, while the action is taking place! It's not worried in the least! While, off to the left, the lights are shining a light down deep on a long curving orange pathway structure, as they try desperately to get away! [ Seconds in to scene 0: 44 ] Here, we hear a soft tone of a boom in the audio, and right on cue, permeating throughout the atmosphere, the Artist inaugurates, multiple releases of tiny balls of lights, as the turbulent chase proceeds to the finality of its climax! Where and how will the poor little lights escape off to, is anybodies guess? Our hearts go out to them, will they survive? [ Seconds in to scene 3: 41 ] The lights are able to ditch the unstoppable intruder, by faking a left turn, then a right turn, then up flipped turn, upside down which confused and knocked the visuals electronic, inter dimensional sibertrocsic tracking modulators off, temporarily of the intruder. The happy lights, all three of them, they breathe a sigh of relief, but don't get your hopes up! This is not over! [ Seconds in to scene 3: 41 1/2 ] The intruder gets himself back in the game, mad as all hell and is after them again with vengeance! The crystal intruder does not like lights, not at all . |
Guest | May 23, 2012, 10:34:24 PM Thanks peeps! This is GPU rendering so at small resolutions it runs realtime. The camera path is just "driving" with the mouse and recording each position - then smoothing the data. Yes the lighting isn't realistic - just meant to be interesting. |
trumanbrown | May 16, 2012, 04:42:08 PM Great camera work! |
taurus | May 16, 2012, 12:06:15 PM wow! this one will be hard to beat. fantastic smooth take! i could not even guess how you did this. |
cKleinhuis | May 16, 2012, 01:43:03 AM thank you for the trip! amazing camera pathes, mesmerizing music how do you create pathes ? hand editing or scripting ? i see, interfering sometimes doesnt seem to look bad, just strangely lighted dude, this is awesome trippy film! |
