Description: Since "Fractal Orgy", I'm exploring this kind of fractals that arise from folding only one axis before doing an inversion. This time is not a 2D mandelbox, but my Kaliset formula with some tweaks, after searching for different params and fine-tuning them carefully to get the desired image. I used "exponential smoothing" coloring method, as almost always do. Some minor adjustments were made with PS CS4.

While I never heard of the Sterling formula for FE, I do recall that there was once a fractal application named Sterling which did such things
Very nice

Thanks!

@Lenord: the first one is absolutely amazing! I think I heard about Sterling but never tried it.

Interesting, I used to get something similar with FractalExplorer using Sterling formulas a couple years ago
