Description: Mandelbulb 3D v1.70 with some post work in PS

koch_cube/SierHilbert/_reciprocalZ2

The new reflection feature handles linear surfaces very well -
just a pity it's not currently possible to easily adjust light/colour
settings post-render though - had to resort to a little PS work
to get a more 'punchy' result. undecided

My idea is that the not being easy part of setting the light&color adjustments is good.
It took me almost 2 days&nights before having a nice result and learned a lot.

Great image Mark.

I suspect there is going to be a tradeoff between how much information the viewer is capable of absorbing. Reflections is another tool, which must be used wisely, otherwise it can become a distraction rather than an enhancement. I think it works better on larger surface areas then on very small areas   A Beer Cup
