LionHeart | June 25, 2011, 12:20:52 PM Hi Seth, I have been playing with my code and have achieved 10^5000 or 2^16,600 zoom. Unfortunately on my 32 bit machine, it takes half an hour to do a single pixel. It's not very practical Theoretically, The only limit to the precision is the memory I'm prepared to allocate to the variables. Have you had a play with ManpWIN? LionHeart. |
LionHeart | June 17, 2011, 12:10:15 AM Great, Seth. Let me know what you think. It doesn't have the zoom depth of Fractal eXtreme or its speed, but it has a great number of fractals, filters and other goodies LionHeart. |
SethComposerGuy | June 16, 2011, 09:50:47 PM cool. thanks. I'll check it out. |
LionHeart | June 16, 2011, 05:35:00 AM By the way Seth, If you want to play with my little fractal generator, you can get it for free at: http://www.deleeuw.com.au/download/SetupManpWIN.exe Regards, LionHeart |
LionHeart | June 16, 2011, 05:10:35 AM Hi Seth, I went crazy and registered Fractal eXtreme. I looked at the documentation and the maximum zoom is 2^7200 or 10^2167. It's a nice little program. LionHeart. |
LionHeart | June 15, 2011, 09:39:45 PM Wow! I have some work to do yet I bet it took a long time to create the image. I'll have to tweak my program a bit more to get these sorts of zoom. Thanks Seth. LionHeart. |
SethComposerGuy | June 15, 2011, 12:34:29 PM recently, I did an exploration of the outer edge to 2^4014 and still haven't reached it's limit. |
LionHeart | June 15, 2011, 11:10:02 AM Hi Seth, I haven't bought the registered version as I write my own fractal program, ManpWIN. I have been exploring deep zooming and my record so far is 10^310. The images take a long time (24 hours for a full screen). The arithmetic is capable of far deeper zooming, but I need to do substantial changes to the zooming routine to detect the number of digits needed to be stored. What is the maximum precision of fractal extreme? I have only tried the trial version and I reach a limit fairly soon. Thanks matie, LionHeart. |
LionHeart | June 10, 2011, 04:21:51 AM Thanks Seth, I'll explore this product. Unfortunately, I am still restricted to 32 bits. |
SethComposerGuy | June 07, 2011, 11:54:43 AM thanks. I use fractal extreme 64 bit to make these. |
LionHeart | June 07, 2011, 07:49:40 AM Utterly Amazing. What program did you use? I like doing deep zooms and have written my own software and use arbitrary precision arithmetic developed by Wesley Loewer. I have never achieved anything like the zoom you present here ) Well done. LionHeart. |
