Description: Created in Tierazon and Bryce. It can be difficult finding the right fractal for 3D extrusion and then knowing what to do with it but this one worked for me. Discordia is the Roman equivalent of Eris, the Greek goddess of chaos. Guest | February 21, 2011, 10:08:08 PM Ah yes. I remember seeing it now, just didn't recognize the name. Thanks. |
Ross Hilbert | February 21, 2011, 07:58:29 PM Here is a short description from: http://lotr.wikia.com/wiki/Argonath The Argonath, also known as The Gates of Argonath or The Pillars of the Kings, is a monument comprising two enormous pillars, carved in the likenesses of Isildur and AnĂ¡rion, standing upon either side of the River Anduin at the northern approach to Nen Hithoel. It was the location at the end of Peter Jackson's movie The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring. Guest | February 18, 2011, 08:52:58 PM I'm not well up on Lord Of The Rings, what's the Argonath? In a way, Discordia or Eris could be called the fractal goddess as there is some link between fractals and chaos theory, which is why I call myself Erisian on this forum. (after Eris) |
Ross Hilbert | February 18, 2011, 06:11:56 PM Yep, Argonath 2.0 it is. |
Guest | February 17, 2011, 09:00:55 AM It reminds me of the Argonath, from Fellowship of the Ring. The Rev |
dringen | February 17, 2011, 01:21:54 AM they look like fractal guardians, or something. So could Discordia be called the fractal goddess? |
