KRAFTWERK | August 21, 2014, 09:55:05 AM Thanks guys! "God does not play dice." - Yes that was Einsteins conviction, Heisenberg had a different oppinion And Torsten, I agree it looks nice with the "steppings" in this case, only in this case it is not voxel stepping, these are "printing lines" the spheres are made as meshes (would be stupid to export spheres from M3D You can see how smooth the spheres are before print in the render at Shapeways... |
John Smith | August 21, 2014, 12:44:52 AM "God does not play dice." Other people play dice. God decides who wins. |
taurus | August 20, 2014, 10:11:33 PM The little bit "crude" voxelstack look gives this piece just the right tarnished appeal. Very nice! |
KRAFTWERK | August 20, 2014, 09:09:50 PM Heh, I have thought about this, I should make the "one" sphere biggest and declining on the rest, but I do not think GOD used a dice with fair centre of gravity, just take a look around you! Thank you Christian! |
cKleinhuis | August 20, 2014, 07:59:03 PM check center of mass and stuff |
cKleinhuis | August 20, 2014, 07:50:34 PM lol, i wonder if it is a laplace dice, because the weights of the spheres and distribution, have you tossed it a few hundret times ?! |
cKleinhuis | August 20, 2014, 07:49:28 PM wow, very innovative! |
