stereoman | May 19, 2013, 09:15:37 AM The "hair" is done by rendered splines, these are lines you can bend to follow your needs, they are not exactly geometry, but some kind of virtual stuff. There are also "hair" options in the program that works more or less in the same way but with massive quantities. |
cKleinhuis | May 18, 2013, 10:39:22 PM thx, what is the "hair"? |
stereoman | May 18, 2013, 02:00:08 PM let´s see, I modeled the axo´s geometry following a fractal hand procedure, since the model starts as a box and is being subdivided following the model´s needs. At this point, the model is placed in it´s pose using a virtual skeleton. Next was texture, wich is made of fractal formulas embeeded in the modeling program. Once this done, I added atmosphere, light and mist, wich also are fractal driven by the program. Then I added the background, rendered with Mandelbulber, tweaked it a bit in Photoshop to add some fractal noise and adjusted the color to match the image´s fog. Finally I rendered it without further post process. |
cKleinhuis | May 18, 2013, 11:33:30 AM wonderful, a little small rendering, and can you include a description what you did there ?! |
