Description: Parabolic quantum fractal from inside. Number crunching done with gfortran. Mesh produced with Meshlab. Rendered with Blender. This quantum fractal is the result of an IFS (Iterated Function System) consisting of 24 parabolic transformations. It lives on the sphere that can be thought of either as as qubit sphere (Bloch sphere) or as our celestial sphere (projective light cone). The transformations themselves can be thought of as quantum jumps or, alternatively, as the instantaneous Lorentz transformations (changes of velocity) of a UFO-type spaceship. The resulting relativistic aberrations of just one star form the fractal.
