Tahyon | February 25, 2013, 09:30:16 PM awesome work Pablo! |
mauxuam | June 13, 2012, 12:14:17 PM @ ixh there is no problem...I only expressed my very personal (but still free and righteous to be expressed) taste... yes...I did some colourful ones...not my favs to be honest...and the bubbles underwater...I just found them...I didn't add them !... far from me the idea of purism...expecially about fractals or any creativity field... if an simple 4 star explorer like me dares to critic a molossus with so many stars...it is not for disrespect...the opposite... infact I do like and respect most of Kali works a lot...even this one... I just would love it more without cheesy clouds...that's all... it's you having a problem from my point of view....not me... @ Kali indeed...too much only "wonderful" and "amazing" comments and no real critics here... it's a bit boring hey ! very glad that you appreciated my humble critics thanks again for your amazing work...diggin fragmentarium more and more... |
Kali | June 13, 2012, 04:24:59 AM Thanks mauxuam for your critique, I appreciate it and I'm glad to read a comment like this, we always make good comments on the images we like, but hardly on the ones we don't like. I was going to use another fractal (a 2d) for the background, and even I did one image with it. But then I switched to the sky photo as I wanted to make the fractal look more realistic, and I felt it contributed to the atmosphere I wanted to create. I'm sorry you don't like it, but I have to say that I'm satisfied with the result. |
lxh | June 12, 2012, 08:09:22 PM Quote shame that so many fractals have all this cheese spread all over (too many colours...clouds...etc etc).... I can understand purism but if a fractal fits a scene in light, color, atmospheric effect, perspective and context ... where is the problem? But by the way ... you did also pretty colorful pictures. And what about the underwater bubbles? |
mauxuam | June 12, 2012, 07:16:46 PM i have to say that even if the mandelbulb stuff is stunning...the clouds background is far too cheesy for me... shame that so many fractals have all this cheese spread all over (too many colours...clouds...etc etc).... |
Kali | May 29, 2012, 05:44:38 PM Thanks Erisian, ClydeFrog & Mark! It's M3D - I don't know if I'm allowed to post it somewhere else, or did the rules mentioned only that the works have to be new and not posted before? I guess it shouldn't be a problem to post on other site, after submitting here, but who knows... |
MarkJayBee | May 29, 2012, 11:18:48 AM Superb atmosphere in this piece Pablo, would love to see a larger version - on dA maybe? Was this M3D or Fragmentarium? |
