Description: CaCo(5x)(A5 G(5)) - Magnoliophyta Fractalica Did you know that there is such a ting as a Floral Formula "to represent the structure of a flower using specific letters, numbers, and symbols". Check out wiki for more info: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flower Got some info from Mirach that the formula for this one should be something like "CaCo(5x)(A5 G(5))" I like the sound of that! A render that has been laying around waiting to be taken care of, and when Jesse now gave us reflections in the latest version of mandelbulb 3D http://www.fractalforums.com/mandelbulb-3d/mandelbul3d-v1-7-0/ I knew it would be suitable for this piece. KRAFTWERK | June 03, 2011, 09:11:41 AM Thank you Louis, I have not printed this piece yet, but I love the printer. Will try out some new watercolor papers I just ordered, I think it will be great for some of my pieces... |
LMarkoya | June 02, 2011, 02:43:15 PM Don't know how this one got by me.....us usual, amazing...hows it look from your new printer??? Best Wishes |
KRAFTWERK | May 31, 2011, 08:42:50 AM Thank you Lenord Had to google Royal Doulton... I might contact them to get it into production... Thank you tomot! @Madman, Thanks! I got a comment about the formula for this one from Kram at DA after I got the CaCo(5x)(A5 G(5)) formula from Mirach: "given that some of those petals seem to be constructed of other petals, I doubt you could realize a full floral formula without allowing an additional iteration/repetition/fractal symmetry symbol." ...he is right... |
Madman | May 30, 2011, 06:59:04 PM Wonderful stuff KW! The CaCo formula sounds more like some particularly nasty chemical stuff then a flower though |
tomot | May 30, 2011, 06:15:02 PM wow.... Royal Doulton flower figurine ...nice! |
lenord | May 30, 2011, 05:55:34 PM splendid floral fractalwerk |
