RedBug | April 06, 2013, 03:27:50 AM So beautiful! Cant understand how you have found these great views. You´ve done a whole lot of these, so that may one reason for ppl to vote 1 instead of more if the like colors or such more in your others renders.. Personally I've always loved stormy waters and the stories behind the crew of the ships - and the mysterious sea. Super nice render! Would be a nice print on wall. |
Alef | April 03, 2013, 03:22:02 PM Don't forget to share picture in a fractalforums image section: http://www.fractalforums.com/images-showcase-%28rate-my-fractal%29/ |
Kali | May 27, 2011, 05:42:29 AM That's why I'm looking for new formulas that makes atypical fractals For me, the real beauty in raw fractals is the balance between the beautiful complex results and the simplicity (and also the beauty) of the formula used. |
ziegfrid | May 24, 2011, 07:29:13 AM Here is a gallery with more typical fractals. http://raysheaf.deviantart.com/gallery/24771250 Yet even the best geometry can't make a picture by itself. Also the world is inundated with typical fractals. In real galleries here in Spain, people just laugh when you say "fractals", only when seeing that I do figurative things they change the tone. |
Kali | May 24, 2011, 12:17:32 AM The ratings are not visible in the competition gallery, but I can see the rating of the last uploads in the general view of the gallery. |
cKleinhuis | May 23, 2011, 11:39:27 PM just browsing through your gallery here, amazing work! really! that is fantastic stuff!!! |
cKleinhuis | May 23, 2011, 11:38:11 PM voting is working, just the view is disabled until end of compo! you have a gallery with your "geometric" creations ? would love to see more "realistic" images!!! |
cKleinhuis | May 23, 2011, 11:36:45 PM wow, what an impressive image! |
ziegfrid | May 23, 2011, 08:30:09 PM Thank you for the nice words folks!!! I think the rate is disabled due to the voting, yet I don't care too much. I've demonstrated on other sites, that I can do geometry and even from plain Mandelbrot. My main purpose is to show what is possible to do, that fractals are really endless source for ideas. |
Lee Oliver | May 23, 2011, 07:57:07 PM I don't know why this was given one star I give it a five, the fractal looks just like a ship |
slon_ru | May 23, 2011, 07:36:39 PM Wow, nice! |
Kali | May 23, 2011, 07:33:18 PM As you may know, I'm more interested in fractal art done purely with math and with the simplest possible formulas. But that's just my personal approach, and when I see such beauty as this image, I only have words of admiration. Too bad some people are close minded and fundamentalists, because you don't deserve that 1 star. Keep doing that amazing work! |
