Description: Lotus imagery is prominent in Buddhist art because the way the beautiful, pure flower grows out of dirty pools of mud is a metaphor for enlightenment. I was surprised to come across a lotus in this zoom of a Buddhabrot. Depicted in this rendering is the head and shoulders of the meditating Buddha with a glowing lotus in front dripping dew down into the empty nothingness that the seeker of enlightenment attempts to find below. This was rendered with my own software.
