KRAFTWERK | October 31, 2016, 12:13:45 PM Thank you Tim! |
Tim Emit | October 30, 2016, 09:39:23 PM very nice indeed |
KRAFTWERK | August 28, 2014, 01:35:56 PM Thanks again Bug! |
RedBug | August 28, 2014, 10:13:19 AM Great colors and shapes - nice organic feel! (Great as usual) |
KRAFTWERK | August 10, 2014, 05:13:07 PM Nice to hear that from the master of inside mandelbulb spirals! I was planning to do a series of this, but I think this one is by far the best artistically so I felt no need for putting the others up here, but because I have a lot of renders made from this area and because you ask I will post at least one where you can see more of the surroundings. ...soon! |
trafassel | August 08, 2014, 09:41:27 PM Sorry no suitable words, wow. Can I see more of this? |
KRAFTWERK | August 01, 2014, 11:45:15 AM Good luck mandelman (it is VERY hard to navigate on the inside... ) And thank you Dermis! Raystep multiplier: 0.1 Stepwidth limiter: 0.5 (rendered in 4000 x 3000 pixels) not looking good in 1:1... I will probably do a bigger version of it and go down to soething like Raystep multiplier: 0.01 Stepwidth limiter: 0.05 |
Dermis | July 31, 2014, 10:14:01 PM Amazing work Johan, as always. The detail is truly astonishing, great colour and I like the inclusion of the mini-me! If I had one burning question it would be this: what is the RM value for this render? Regards |
mandelman | July 31, 2014, 10:03:44 PM Thanks for the reply, Kraftwerk! I'm trying it out. I suspect that's how LV-426 looked like after Ripley had gone. |
KRAFTWERK | July 31, 2014, 02:36:36 PM Thank you Louis and mandelman... I normally do not share parameters (if it is hybrids of my own blend) but this is a plain Mandelbulb cosine power 8, inside render. ...and of course, heightmap added... But because of the inside mode the heightmap only cut the bulb, so I had to add the ground in post work in Photoshop. (I guess I could have used a BoxIFS or something instead, but I didn't... ) |
mandelman | July 31, 2014, 07:14:43 AM Amazing! Would you mind sharing a formula? |
LMarkoya | July 30, 2014, 11:35:48 PM Epic in its convulsive beauty |
