Description: First tests of the "Cosmos" Fragmentarium script I'm working on. It is based on the 3D "Kaliset" formula, a kind of kleinian fractal, rendered as a volumetric density map, with some values acting as bright spots and others as opaque / non-emmisive material ("dark matter" ). Anyway stills don't make justice to the scrolling animations, so I will upload some short clips later. cKleinhuis | June 23, 2013, 03:16:32 PM very good |
Mikelo | June 23, 2013, 11:40:30 AM The only problem with this is that it just looks like a picture of the cosmos. But wait a minute, it's not. To create such convincing images from a script is pretty impressive, I think, and something that could be of great benefit to film makers. Great stuff. |
