Axolotlis Angularis | ||||||
Previous Image | ||||||
Description: My magical impression of what Axolotl is. Used random complex power mandelbrot (burning ship variation) with powers varying from 0 to 5. It's a escaping hole in the fractal lake, and is coloured by Pauldebrots Smoothed Iterations colouring. (Both from EM in Ultrafractal database.) Non- coloured parts are transparent. Interesting enought traditional amerindian art stiles looks quite a simmilar of a north asian angular art stiles of finno-ugric and siberian natives. Tried to keep in that pattern. Have a bitt diferent version. Just couldn't chose witch are better, but realy they are similar: Stats: Total Favorities: 0 View Who Favorited Filesize: 465.95kB Height: 960 Width: 1280 Discussion Topic: View Topic Keywords: Axolotl salamander fractal gif angular indian amerindian aztec Posted by: Alef May 07, 2013, 01:34:21 PM Rating: by 17 members. Alef | May 22, 2013, 04:09:10 PM I hope none would be stupid enougt to change colours and then upload in contest as his own work. But then I would be proud if someone would use formula of my authorship for an entry. Neverless, sometimes single layer is better than many: Axolotlis Angularis Axolotl_1 { fractal: title="Axolotl_1" width=640 height=480 layers=1 credits="Edgar;5/6/2013" layer: caption="Background" opacity=100 transparent=yes mapping: center=-0.90656815353245/-0.23846497991 magn=433.8751 formula: maxiter=250 percheck=off filename="em.ufm" entry="RandomPower" p_bailout=100000000000000000000000000 p_rndpower=Complex p_power=9 p_range=5 p_formula=BurningShip p_settype=Mandelbrot p_switchsettype=Julia p_julia=0.3/0.6 p_inverted=no p_fishstrenght=1 f_func_post=ident p_itermultiplied=no p_itermult=0.05 inside: transfer=none filename="Standard.ucl" entry="Default" outside: transfer=linear filename="em.ucl" entry="Pauldebrots_Smooth" p_convergent=no p_esm=no p_alt=no p_perfix=1.0 p_zmax=100 p_power=2 p_fit=yes p_fittimes=3 p_fitminit=73 p_fitmaxit=76 p_transfer=Sigmoid p_transpower=3.0 p_bailout=100000000000000000000000000 gradient: smooth=yes index=0 color=28160 index=100 color=16121855 index=200 color=6974166 index=300 color=140 opacity: smooth=no index=0 opacity=255 } |
Alef | May 13, 2013, 06:44:46 PM Thanks Kraftwerk:) |
KRAFTWERK | May 09, 2013, 08:24:07 PM This one is soo cute - it really put a smile on my face. Good work Alef! |
Alef | May 09, 2013, 03:28:33 PM taurus66: Waiting for next entry. |
cKleinhuis | May 07, 2013, 05:49:33 PM @taurus, i just want to give starting positions for people who are not sure how to create something like an axolotl fractal, but i am reliefed you are having something in your pocket |
taurus | May 07, 2013, 02:16:30 PM hehe, I also was wondering, who is the first in this section. congrats from me too. I'll be in soon as well, but mine is still looking more like a bullfrog so it still needs some work. This one is pretty abstract, but with a very individual touch - I like it! @christian you're trying to kill creativity in this section? your way won't be mine for sure! |
cKleinhuis | May 07, 2013, 02:06:56 PM i try to make an example for the next issue what i am expecting, but i wont most certainly not compete, i am thinking of layered julia fractals stacked ontop of eachother that form the shape of an axolotl |
Alef | May 07, 2013, 01:51:48 PM Probably none have an idea how fractal axolotl should look like, in if there are someone he keep it till the last day. I hope this will alsou break the ice |
cKleinhuis | May 07, 2013, 01:42:12 PM congrats for beeing the first in this section, very artistic i wonder how this section develops throughout the contest |
