Description: Same parameters as "One Million and One" with very minor tweaking. I think I like this perspective better. biofreak | November 17, 2013, 09:03:56 PM absolutely stunning coloring, detail and lighting I like it! |
John Smith | January 02, 2013, 11:54:04 PM I see, makes sense. And as I said, it is a very nicely done image. Very well balanced use of organic and geometric. Also, my screen name isn't my real name. It's a failed Doctor Who reference. Was formerly LAR2, but wanted something other than my initials. Sorry for confusion. |
dainbramage | January 02, 2013, 07:23:42 PM Thank you paragon5! Thank you John for comments and suggestion! The surface of this isn't really as smooth as it may appear, so it didn't work to well with reflections. Plus I really didn't want the extra details that reflections would add, but yes, I did try the reflections. |
John Smith | January 02, 2013, 06:56:17 PM Don't get me wrong. It's a great image, so great I feel kinda stupid asking, but have you tried this with reflections? Whenever I see a lot of smooth surfaces I usually try reflections. Mind you, sometimes it completely ruins the picture, makes it to bright and confusing and jumbled, as it might here, but I would try it anyway. If you already have tried it, never mind. You've been at this a lot longer than I have. |
paragon5 | January 01, 2013, 10:52:58 PM Fantastic image! |

Dermis | December 11, 2012, 06:45:47 PM Great composition, cool shapes and the attention to detail in the lighting, fog and depth of field, make for a compelling image. =] |
dainbramage | December 11, 2012, 12:52:24 AM Thank you Dan! |
Tahyon | December 10, 2012, 09:11:37 PM awesome fractal and chromatic, perfect one ! |
dainbramage | December 10, 2012, 11:30:53 AM Thanks Redbug and Paul! Thanks Torsten! I too thought this emphasized the cubes more and the towers less, which is what I wanted! Thanks Johan! I think the cubes are great, and there is enough space between them to see into the inner layers of the fractal! |
KRAFTWERK | December 10, 2012, 08:38:18 AM WOW, yes, I like the sub-shapes here, great find Brent! |
taurus | December 10, 2012, 08:08:31 AM I like that more as well, 'cause the eiffel tower is just a sub theme here. The cubed spheres and the materiality are awesome! |
