| March 15, 2013, 07:50:59 PM Well, for me, the many iterations..., it is not so. There are formulas that I use at very low iterations, from 2 to 20. All depends what form I need. Sure it is obligatory to know very well the main form of many formulas at different iteration levels. |

| March 15, 2013, 05:27:00 PM Thanks, Alef! Well I wonder why people including the CEO of the forum think that I use that many layers, he, he. No, this one is exactly 22 layers. I've used maximum 75 layers, but that was last year. Now I make things very easy and with very few layers for the main subject. I prefer to use more layers for the atmosphere, lighting and nuances. All my recent works are between 20-30 layers. Otherwise you are right, I use it like a vector PhotoShop. It is very flexible this way as it is resolution independent. Also, if say you make something great in a landscape format and suddenly is needed for a square or portrait format it is easy to rearrange a bit and render again. If I paint it, would have to start from scratch. |
