Description: Some have been complaining about me never leaving the Rhino fractal, I have done so occasionally but have not found anything as interesting and varied, yet... but this weekend I focused on trying out new formula hybrids, and this is one is an unrestrained crazy mix of bulbs and boxes ![]() A detail of the "Thistel fractal" I found yesterday... BEWARE bib!

| KRAFTWERK | March 08, 2011, 08:38:19 AM Thanks Erisian! I find them the only possible way, using brute force. 1. Do a formula blend that looks connected enough and nice. 2. Try to find a varied overview. 3. Make a big render of it. (more than 4000 x 4000 pixels) 4. Look for interesting shapes in the resulting image. 5. Make a render of that shape. 6. GOTO 4. (If necessary) |
| Guest | March 07, 2011, 09:04:06 PM This is unbelievable! How on earth do you find these shapes? Do you need to know the maths or something? ![]() |
