| Pauldelbrot | June 05, 2010, 10:11:32 PM Yow! Nice one. Good color schemes and interesting base fractal. |
| Ross Hilbert | June 02, 2010, 01:08:58 PM Thanks Tglad, This fractal is an IFS based on a Mobius transformation. The base equations came from a fractal flame tutorial for Apophysis by penny5775 at: http://penny5775.deviantart.com/art/Mobius-Dragon-Script-104021373 http://penny5775.deviantart.com/art/Mobius-Design-Pack-104115613 I used the information given there to write a Fractal Science Kit program (Mobius Dragon IFS) to generate the IFS. The base IFS is then inverted in a circle to generate the final image. Ross |
| Tglad | June 02, 2010, 05:59:34 AM These shields have been slowly getting better and better, this one is perfect. I have never used fractal science kit, I'd love to know what process you follow to find these patterns. Are these from well established equations and tools or completely new designs? |
