Description: I really don't know if this works, guys. I've rendered different views, lightings, height-map textures, backgrounds with apt lights and tuned colors and contrasts (even decent noise i tried) until the loop was done twice and now you see this musty dark pic. Pfff ... well, the real good thing about the FF-Gallery isn't that here are the hardest fractal critics in the world .. .. but posting an image means also a final stop of work. It's a bit "different" now but i hope you like it that way. lxh | October 17, 2012, 07:08:01 PM Thank you Torsten! And you are unfortunately right. Phantasma's variations have all the same basic character. At the moment i try to find a way to avoid this similarity but to keep it's best. Wish me luck ... |
taurus | October 17, 2012, 01:58:56 PM must have missed this yesterday. Great Phantasma mod (I guess it is - ecxept the heightmap). Allways and again fascinated about your skilled postwaork. |
lxh | October 17, 2012, 11:01:06 AM Many thanks for your positive feedback! I think i've expressed myself wrong when i said i rendered different views ... i mean i tried different views. This is one shape of course, no compositing. @Brent: Glad you like it. Especially if it takes hours to tune colors and lights just to end up in almost darkness and sepia! @LAR2: That's the nice about fractals. Everyone has another impression. But now as you say ... I should give more undefined titles. @bib: Thanks a lot! I don't want to overload you with this shape but i'll try to find some interesting variations .. let's see what's there. |
bib | October 16, 2012, 10:54:51 PM Wow, hyper realistic structures and wonderful setup. I love the series, keep it up! |
John Smith | October 16, 2012, 07:36:52 PM Hard critics? Rubbish. I love this picture, though to me it looks like a couple of wooden ships in a harbor. |
dainbramage | October 16, 2012, 07:03:16 PM I like it like this! Great work! |
