Description: I was working on an icosahedron derived fractal when I failed to take a reciprocal of one of the terms. Since the resulting image is probably more interesting the the one I was trying to produce I decided to post it before I fixed the bug. Made with a hacked version of mandelbulber. fractower | October 02, 2011, 06:31:30 PM Interesting point. The algorithm I was working with is primarily a surface fractal. It did not occur to me to go spelunking. |
KRAFTWERK | October 02, 2011, 08:35:34 AM The greatest finds in life are made by mistake... Interesting image, looks like (almost) an inverted mandelbulb... |
