Kali, thanks.  I already had the rotate in from the previous fractal I was working on and forgot about it.  When I turned it off, I lost my current look and couldn't quite re-create it the way I wanted, so I figured I would leave it as is. cheesy

But as the formula itself does the rotation as the last transform, adding a second rotation after it is just like changing the rotation angles of the first one. I mean that the same result could be obtained by adjusting the built-in rotation of the formula.

btw, I hadn't tried too much transforms or formulas combined with amazing surf... must try some more...  wink
