3rd Degree and Perturbation
Previous Image | Next Image
Description: This little movie summarizes my first year here at the forum. We have been breaking new lands in exploration of the Mandelbrot set with perturbation, series approximation and solving the glitches it causes, and it has been a great collaboration! One of the next steps is to deeply explore the 3rd degree Mandelbrot set, and it looks like there are indeed interesting things to discover. For instance, julia morphing is indeed possible. jehovajah | August 11, 2014, 01:59:03 AM Thanks for the smooth ride! My first realisation is the work I did on the Newtonian triples, ably supported by Elfie and Alef produced this form in the 3 d third degree. I had hoped it might lead to the holy grail but I was not sufficiently convinced that it would. My second delight is that the filaments should be so interesting a zoom! I did not do a zoom because I do not have the technology . What you write has definitely peeked my interest in what you guys and gals are getting up to! Your ride and camera work is the smoothest zoom I have been on , especially when you follow the spiral! Good job! |
Kalles Fraktaler | June 17, 2014, 06:40:31 PM Thanks a lot. This movie is really a product of fractalforums, many people have contributed! @cKleinhuis - no I did not use it before. Metal is like the Mandelbrot set, infinite variations |
cKleinhuis | June 12, 2014, 12:47:43 AM lol, nice one, you definately have a prejeduced taste of sound! didnt you use that before ? |
LhoghoNurbs | June 05, 2014, 06:59:06 PM This is the first time I dive so deep in a 3rd degree Mandelbrot set. Thanks. And it is no coincidence that there are lots of triangular arrangements of structures. |
Fractal Kaleidoscope | June 01, 2014, 08:50:36 PM Wow, great zoom and excellent music choice |
