bib | March 11, 2011, 11:13:59 PM The 2nd one is "just" an evolution of the 1st. There was no morphing at all in the 1st one. The 2nd one took about a week to render, 6400 frames in 1920x1080 |
Lee Oliver | March 11, 2011, 10:47:21 PM I like the second video bib There seems to be a lot more morphing going on than the first. How long did it take to render? |

Madman | February 06, 2011, 07:12:27 PM Congrats bib! Well deserved! This is not the only one that deserves praise though... |
bib | February 06, 2011, 05:54:54 PM Deviantart DAILY DEVIATION on 2011 February, 6th Our suggester says of Weird planet, "Feels like staring into space from the moon, hoping for a chance to see a distant Earth somewhere. A suggestive view, charged with reminiscences of steampunk sci-fi scenery...and of Saint-Exupéry's "The Little Prince" book cover. *bib993 is that rare creature, a fractal artist with a solo gallery exhibition, going on this month in Paris, France. He is new to our dA community but not to the art of fractals; please give him a warm welcome. Suggested by *heavenriver Featured by ^DragonWinter http://bib993.deviantart.com/art/Weird-planet-193718370 The image got more than 8000 views and 450 favorites in 1 day on deviantArt. Funny enough I originally did it just to illustrate the movie, I did not intend to make a dedicated still. |
bib | December 14, 2010, 10:28:38 PM My practice is to tell the formulas rather than directly post the parameters. So you can show me your wonderful finds as well! So the idea is : F1 : Aboxvaryscale -1.4 < Scale < -1.1 0 < Min R < 0.5 2 < Fold < 4 -0.1 < Scale vary < 0 0 < R Power < 2 F2 : _Rotate -20 < all rotations < 20 |
Guest | December 14, 2010, 08:59:39 PM Please, show the parameters for this awesome work. |

bib | December 12, 2010, 08:39:10 PM Thanks for the comments. I think this one would look nice in a planetarium. Jonathan, if you hear me... |
Madman | December 12, 2010, 08:30:16 PM Awesome is the word! (By lack of better superlatives) This is a great place, I like the big emptiness with just now and then some contraption sticking out. |
Jesse | December 11, 2010, 02:47:02 PM Awesome, bib! I like these weird places you always find |
