jpuget | March 10, 2015, 11:26:09 AM Quote from: Sockratease jpuget - If you are unable to reproduce the exact style you want, and the parameters are not forthcoming, there are other options. You said you were in a hurry because you wanted the imagery for a presentation. If this is a for-profit, commercial, presentation and you are pressed for time then I suggest simply doing the thing most commercial graphic artists do when they want to use somebody else's images and ask for permission (possibly contact them privately, offering a licensing fee and making clear the original Artist will be credited). There are so many nice places in these 3D Fractals that I'm sure you could find something equally nice, if wholly different, from the images you want. It takes a lot of time exploring and patience, plus skill, to create these images and it's understandable if people want to encourage others to discover things for themselves before just giving away their hard work. And as I said, if you don't have time to learn, then perhaps reaching an agreement with the creator is the way to go. Most people think that what all Artists want is recognition, but in my experience what all Artists want - I mean Really Want - is to get paid ![]() Thanks! that is much more reasonable answer. Thank you very much. The thing is that I would like to know how to modify the parameters, the shaders and all those things. I am not physicist neither a mathematician, i am just a designer. Do you think I could find anyone to give some guides , classes or something like that if I pay? I really need to learn and I must be stupid but I find it quite difficult. Should I create a post asking for (remunerated) help ? Thanks again |

Quote from: jpuget Quote from: KRAFTWERK @jpuget I guess that is because Taurus didn't use presets. and I guess that you didn't understand the question. I do not mind if he used presets or not, I am asking is there is a preset to do something similar.![]() Anyway, thanks for your help ![]() This sounds a bit like "please gimme a preset, so that I don't need to do something myself" I think it doesn't work this way. The trick is to find out yourself by playing, playing, playing with all the different parameters. Three little hints:
happy hunting! yes, it sounds like that because it is like that. I am in a hurry, i need to develop these kind of images, in different colours and different shapes asap, that why i look for presets. I wiil keep searching and tying to understand all this fractal world ![]() |

cKleinhuis | March 09, 2015, 08:09:53 PM @jpuget as the description says, it is a default mandelbox, you find precious insights about the mandelbox structure in my review of the formula, there you can see where you can find such locations in a standard scale -1.5 mandelbox http://www.fractalforums.com/index.php?action=gallery;sa=view;id=17007 |
