Turbulent Sky

http://www.fractalforums.com/index.php?action=gallery;sa=view;id=16216

A Triskelion Mandelbrot slice, critical point 0. There's a valley to the right, full of spacefilling detail -- lots of swirls and other patterns. Left of that is a valley wall, but the bifurcations here are associated to some other critical point, so we see filled-in Julia structures instead of Mandelbrot structures. Small black flecks here are minibrots tied to the critical point zero. At lower right is a Herman looking glass, with a fiery apocalypse of spacefilling structures on the far side. The buds along the far side are tied to 0 but their reflections are not, and appear split into petals as a consequence. Bright white specks in the "sky" and bright red ones in the "apocalypse" are more minibrots tied to 0.
