I was pretty surprised when I was playing around with M3D and got a 3D rendering that looked so much like the 2D Mandelbrot Set, so I figured I'd share it with you all.



Here's a short video showing off the detail.  It isn't quite symmetrical, oddly.  The "wires" shooting out along one vertical axis are more "flat" and less detailed than those shooting out the other.
