Nothing magical?  I beg to differ...
I think its important to remember that we humans, like all life forms, are also fractals that came from math.  As the complexity increases in our formulas, we are bound to find things that seem more and more magical.  What we need is a living fractal that can change itself.

You mean like a self-transforming machine elf?  wink


I found this inside a mandelbox, scale -1.5, yesterday; applied a bit of gimp to accentuate the colors of the teeth (and neck). Rendered in mandelbubler 0.98.
