z = c((z^3)/2 + 1/(2*z^3))

I tried your formula in Fractal Explorer (Sirotinsky) and I've never seen a formula produce that type of fractal.
But I'm a novice with formulas so I guess that may not mean too much.

I almost (read: did) forget my manners.
