For the past year or more I have been able to run Mandelbulb on my Mac's at home using Crossover.
I have to admit I never liked Crossover and was always a bit confused how it worked, or what it was doing, but it did allow me to use the program.
I upgraded to Mavericks OSX 10.9 the other day and its over, Crossover shuts down and I can't get to Mandelbulb at all.
Anyone know if the native mac Mandelbulb was ever ported to the latest version of Mandelbulb?
Anyone else out there update the OS and can still run Mandelbulb?
If you have any solutions, please let me know
THanks

Louis

Hello Louis. Sad to hear this (especially because Maverick will be the OS on the Pro... )
HAve you tried the "Wrapper"? http://www.fractalforums.com/mandelbulb-3d/mandelbulb-3d-for-mac-!-(with-updates-!)/
I have run this successfully on 10.6.8, sadly it is a bit unstable on 10.8, so I guess it might have even bigger problems on Maverick...
Otherwise the best solution is probably Bootcamp, Parallels or VMware, they have never failed on me (never tried Bootcamp though)
