grin Both these programs are superb especially Kalles Fraktaler. Wouldn't it be lovely if there was an option to do either a burning ship fractal or a power 3 or 4 Mandelbrot with super-quick deep zooms with either program. Thank you.

It would!
And I think that they deserve a own little section in fractal programs, as the single threads are very active and it's so hard to find older information..

Yes we should work on a pertubation method for these. I would like it also for the matchmaking function Pauldelbrot is using for some of his images.
But I don't think I'm able to do the math. Especially series approximation which I do not fully understand.

I can't load SFT, but Kalles Fraktaler make good fraktals on Windows. And this not all! It can save iteration map files: this files can be colored like our interests. +1 to Kalles Fraktaler!

SeryZone, indeed I noticed all the iteration data is saved (I suppose to correct glitches). That's great. Do you think it would be feasible to apply a fractal extreme gradient to rendered frames from kalles fraktaler? I need to learn more programming. It's so useful.

The iteration data is stored mainly so that the movie maker can do color cycling. But I am glad SeryZone can use it for his coloring methods.

Is there any specification of fx's gradients and it is possible to store only the palette in FX? It would be cool if it could be converted to a list of key-colors that could be imported in kalles fraktaler.

Theres my command line programs that can import and export FX palette files as text.

Just typing fxpalload or fxpallist gives a short help on the options.
One issue when converting to Kalles Fraktaler palettes is that KF uses evenly spaced BGR entries.
Fractal extreme can have randomly positioned RGB entries.
I intended the fxpallist program to interpolate between colour indexes, but that code doesn't look like its working.
That would be if you had red indexes at positions 1, 37, 45 out of the 228 colour index positions.
You'd want the values at positions 2,3,4 ... 34, 35, 36 because KF needs to have all positions defined.
It comes down to a matter of approximating the positioning of the FX palette indexes using as few KF palette entries as possible.
You want to use the smallest number of colours to allow you the spread the colours using the divide iterations parameter.
I've created a few 1024 colour palette entries that are just too sparse in the initial stages of a zoom.
