The Slums of Atlantis

http://www.fractalforums.com/index.php?action=gallery;sa=view;id=19349

I've been travelling a lot lately. One of the places I frequented was somewhere in the southeast of Europe. Although quite different from what I'm used to, I eventually started to like the place. Sometimes I even liked the people... I had to travel daily from A to B (or more accurately from B to D) and back and after a couple of weeks knew several routes to go there. Sometimes I chose the wrong itinerary and ended up in a heavy pile of traffic. One of these days I decided to turn left to dodge the rest of the traffic jam. I felt as if I had had fallen off the world and entered a new one. The traffic was gone, but this was a world where nobody should live. The houses were built from corrugated steel or abandoned packaging. Waste was everywhere. This was not a refugee camp, but a part of daily life. I felt ashamed when I realized this was also  part of Europe.

This one is for the people living there
