First of all, your initial posting within the Main Gallery contains comments that state:
Quote
They are now all available in my shop at Shapeways:  https://www.shapeways.com/shops/mandelpieces
    Prices from only 9 €

I would say that this is not really the correct area for promoting your commercial sales!!!    fiery
You should be posting such things within the special sub-Board at:  http://www.fractalforums.com/index.php?board=56.0

Secondly, though this is an interesting "novelty", I think your obsession with these rings might be blinding you to their truth worth.   I seriously doubt there will ever be enough of a market for fractal rings to make it worthwhile.    cheesy

I think the reason why fractal rings haven't caught on much is very much the same reason why we don't have fractal dildos and butt plugs yet.
The surface is too rough for comfortable wear. ahem. Those rings could give the wearer a serious advantage in a fist fight tough.

Maybe try earrings. One could do a full Mandelbulb, and even add some gems/diamonds in place of the minibulbs.

Yes, as I mentioned in one of his previous ring postings, it would be great as a brass knuckle.

Nice set of rings, BUT I feel that what I find amazing in fractals is the colouring and the clarity of detail, so the size of a ring and the current materials for 3D printing, makes it difficult to portray these attributes.

As a fractal fan I naturally like your rings, but I unfortunately can not see much of a market for them unless we can make fractals into THE latest world wide craze, hmmmm, fractal hoola hoops, fractal yoyos  .... (I still have a Coca Cola brand yoyo from the early seventies, oh man,  that sure was one crazy yo-yoing scene back then)

smiley Well, we will see about the commercial possibilities of fractal rings, I agree with you mclarekin that the detail of a blown up photography of a fractal ring is a bit of a disappointment, but to see it in reality is a different thing, it looks very detailed, to get mini mini bulbs visible for the eye on a small piece like this is a joy for me to see... I think you'd agree if you saw it.

...to be honest I already got some chafe from it...  afro

And @ Paul, I have removed the link.
