Disaster! Just while I was embarking on my 5000 miles ridge soaring flight in the mountains of Erignea, I lost my piefje! I just managed to make a picture of it before it whirled down into the mountains.



P.S: Since I expect that the subset of glider pilots and fractal artists that understand Dutch is rather limited and probably approaches one, here's a small explanation: a piefje is a sophisticated piece of equipment that ensures you can "straighten up and fly right". I think in English it's called a yaw string, but that's such a boring word...
