It's indeed a nice melange with a wide variety of artistic aproaches. Some of my personal favorites are on board. And the basic price is surprisingly low.
But I'm afraid the notion of a presale (funding) period (again) will prevent this product to get a deserved mass appeal. Early November the stores are already full of completely produced Calendars and starting to fund a project then is nothing but bad timing. Smaller malpractices like the silence about shipping costs round off the range of facilities.
Sorry for the criticism, but I think this project still has a long way to go...

yay, @taurus, you dont really mean that we try to compete with kittykatten calendars?! this piece is for dedicated fractalists, nothing more, nothing less, perhaps some kind of aggressive advertisement could yield more than production costs, but this is a piece for lovers, nothing else, so, i am doing this now for the third time beside earning my everyday life i try to set it up a third time in row, now we have huge artistic variance, and massively decreased price, it is a test if now more people are wanting it, but right now it looks like with increased quality and decreased prize people think of it as not worth buying it, it is really looking that it wont happen this year ... at least at this point!

Is this world really that black and white? You sound, as if this is the only (not available) fine art calendar.

But indeed I'm quite surprised, that you obbviously stopped acting like only trying to fill your own pockets with this calendar. You really seem to understand now, that this doesn't work - hats off.
So if there is still a long way for this project - it is on a good way. grin
All in all I still think it's a pitty to leave this calendar a piece from freaks for freaks. The same professionality in distribution as in artistic quality, would make a serious alternative to other fine art products. The sky is still the limit...

lol, we will do it somehow, but on the hand i think it has to be even more expensive, to classify it as a real unique art piece - which it actually is!

Does anyone know of calendar software compatible with the Simple Machines forum software (HTML5?).

What about a yearly virtual Fractal calendar hosted on the forum site?

Oh how pitty.  undecided I just wanted to reserve one.

An alternative idea: Does anyone know a good online calendar printing service where Christian can simply upload the files, customize the calendar layout and everyone can order and pay directly at this service?
For Christian this would mean: no shipping, no space, no trouble with money, no risk but much fun (and commission) wink

At deviantart you can create such calendars but I saw no option to customize the layout.

When we find such a service then even the very beautiful calendar 2014 could become reality praying

this would indeed be a possibility, but so far i have not found an adequate layouted service, it should look equally to the previous ones!

Snapfish has such an affiliate programm:
http://www.snapfish.com/snapfish/affiliate
But layout is not so good. Upper half with image, lower half with dates.

Here a deviant art example:
http://the-lemon-watch.deviantart.com/art/Virtual-Glass-Calendar-FC-144344398
click right the "Buy this print / Art Gifts" to see a preview of all months (navbar below image).
But I think the dates are also on a lower half.
