The user MattSchulz has brought up the idea for this game, here is the game definition:

There are four rules:

    * You cannot, EVER edit another layer. You may add a layer only. You may not add a layer which completely masks previous layers, every layer must blend with previous layers, changing the image in new, and interesting ways.
    * You may only ever add one layer. Not two. Not one and a half. The exception is masks. Your layer can have as many masks as you want, as those are strictly subtractive.
    * You cannot post twice in a row. Once you post an edit, you are 'it' and cannot post again until someone posts another layer
    * No animation. This is because we don't all use UF4, and animation just generally makes everything harder. Tag games could be run without this rule, however.

Some games can add extra rules and restrictions, such as formula limitations, themes, colors, etc. This adds to the fun of the game, forcing artists to think artistically.

Images continue to evolve naturally until, at one point, they become difficult to evolve further, and the artists in the thread simply declare it closed to further posts, after which it is complete, and available for everyone to enjoy.

Introduction on How to Contribute:

- The Program used is Ultrafractal the trial version can be used to acomplish our needs:
http://www.ultrafractal.com/download.html

- Each Contributor uses Copy & Paste to get the formula. this is done in two ways:
1. From UF To FractalForums:
 - go inside your image in uf and press CTRL-C to copy the formula file to the clipboard
 - create a new post in Fractalforums.com use the [ code ] [/ code ] tags ( without spaces )
and paste the formula string between these tags

2. From FractalForums to UF
 - Simply mark the formula string posted in the message, create a new formula in uf and press CTRL-C
thats it, sometimes UF has to download a new fractal formula from the formula database, simply allow that

have fun!
