my attempt to create a fresh forum with contents from current has not succeeded, mainly because transferring like 12 gigabytes via ftp simply takes too long from my private account

for now the forum stays as it has been

we organize a structured update on another server reworking many things that piled up, cleaning up categorisation of the forums and gallery

this will take some days (weeks) and then we are going to switch the forums software to a more recent and more secure version
